This week The Garden celebrated our 100th Patron, Cherry Ravinelli! Cherry got a free Garden Game Voucher so she could invite a friend to come play. We’ve been overwhelmed by the Patrons, donations and players that have been making The Garden their home and we thought it was time for a community contest with some prizes for fun!
In order to celebrate the wonderful responses we’ve gotten to The Garden’s launch, we’re having a Photo Contest that will run from December 1st to December 16th. To enter take a photo of your favorite Garden Guardian, share it in our Flickr group and make sure you include a brief note about why you liked that Guardian and chose it for the photo.

Tidbits and Details:
* Photos must be added to The Garden Flickr Group by midnight PST, December 16th.
* Photos must include a Guardian in the shot and a brief note explaining why that Guardian was chosen.
* Winners will be chosen by the Garden Team (Grace McDunnough, Trav Rexen, Salome Strangelove)
* Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded by the 21st.
* You do not have to be a Patron or a playing member to enter The Garden Photo Contests.
* Limit of 5 Entries per contestant per contest.

Gift Voucher Vendor @ The Garden Starting Area
Gift Vouchers are now available at The Garden starting area. These transferable vouchers allow you to buy a HUD for anyone. Simply buy from the Gift Vendor, place the voucher it gives you into your favorite gift box, drop it on the intended targe and POOF! your friend will be able to wear it and redeem their own HUD.
The Garden is not responsible for damage that may be caused due to spontaneous tacklehugs of thanks and happiness.
Just a quick note to say that the Beta Blocker and Sewing Seeds Achievements have been updated.
If you posted to our Flickr feed and/or blogged about The Garden, you should now see the Sowing Seeds badge on your Player tab.
Likewise, if you were one of our wonderful Beta testers, you should now see a Beta Blocker badge on your Player tab.
In order to get any Achievements you must have completed at least one game on a Patron HUD.
If you feel you have earned these Achievements and your badges aren’t showing please let us know!

One last call before our Friday launch — please, if you can, meet us at the Garden Starting Area at 6pm SLT Tomorrow (Wednesday, November 7th). This is just a test to put the HUDs through their paces with as many avatars as we can playing at one time. There is no need for active gameplay, just a lot of button clicking
